The repair process of this item was completed by our kintsugi artist at Atelier Muho, Tokyo, Japan.

The cracked areas were filled with natural Japanese lacquer called "urushi" and decorated with genuine gold powder. The golden seams radiate from the center like sunbeams, creating a striking contrast against the cobalt blue floral motifs.

Items repaired using traditional kintsugi techniques should be treated with the same care as traditional lacquerware. Please note the following:

2. Do not place kintsugi items in a microwave, dishwasher, oven, or open fire.
3. Hand-washing is advised. Wash gently and avoid scrubbing around the repaired cracks.
